Huawei launches Ascend G510, Y300 Android phones

Chinese telecom giant Huawei hasannounced the launch of two new Ascend-series Android phones in the country. The phone– Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 – were earlier spotted selling at various online retail sites. According to a press release issued by with the company, the phones are now available across India via online channels as well as brick and mortar outlets like Reliance Digital, Croma, Universal (South), E Zone, Spice and Huawei Experience outlets. Pricing The Huawei Ascend G510 phone has been priced at INR 10,990, while Ascend Y300 is being sold for INR 7,980. Packing some decent features, these are the first Android 4.1 powered smartphones to be launched by Huawei in the country. The company has revealed that both phones come with Huawei’s redesigned Emotion UI that brings a set of unique and useful features for the users. The phones can also becustomised as per the user needs thanks to the five preloaded themes as well as profiles.
